Local help
There are a number of local volunteer groups offering help if you are staying at home because of Coronavirus. To find what services are being offered in your area, visit https://www.nottinghamshire.gov.uk/care/coronavirus/nottinghamshire-community-support-and-volunteering-hub. Alternatively, you can call Customer Service Centre on 0300 500 8080 between 8am to 6pm, Monday to Friday.

Volunteers
If you want to volunteer please email [email protected] including 'Volunteering' in the subject line, or call 0300 500 8080, and be ready to provide the following information:
- Your name / organisation
- Contact details - postal, telephone and email address
- Have you been DBS checked?
- Area of Nottinghamshire in which you are able to provide support
- What support you can offer.

Other information
Hearing aid batteries - If any patients are in need of hearing aid batteries during Covid-19 please direct them to "Hearing Aid Services" on 01302 644950, they are posting them out at the moment.
Prescriptions deliveries - Those advised to @stay at home under NHS guidelines will not be charged for deliveries of medication. Anyone who decides to stay home not on NHS guidelines can be charged for a delivery. Check with your pharmacy.
Fuel cards - if your fuel card is running low and you are unable to get out contact your provider who will assist you.

Pet food is available in the supermarkets. There are deliveries of pet food if ordered online but these may take up to two weeks. https://www.petshop.co.uk/
